We had a great Lifegroup tonight. We learned greed can be many things and can sneak up on you in many ways.. We learned how important giving can be and instead of looking for “I” in everything, we should be concentrating on giving to others in whatever ways we can.
We had an awesome service and we had a new family member on the stage today!! It was so exciting to sing with her and share her passion of music, God and love. Theresa will be joining us in helping the Worship Team sing, working with me and the music, and even leading some songs/service. We’re excited to welcome her, Butch and Samantha to the family of RiverRidge and we’re excited to see how they are going to be used.
If you know of anyone who has any equipment: guitar cords, mic cords, audio equipment, stands, etc they can or be willing to donate, let me know at the e-mail below. Also, if you dance, sing, could help set up, tear down, work in the Cafe or Welcome center or want to help in any other ways, please let me know as well.
If you’re not involved in a Lifegroup, let me know as well, we want you to get plugged-in.. We would love to have you doing life with a group of other people who struggle with the same issues. God didn’t create us to walk through life alone, but together..

Well, it’s been a pretty good week so far.. Got to spend time with the family on Wednesday.. We went to see Madagascar II-it was pretty good.. Least they kept the same voices..
Sunday’s going to be good, I can’t wait.. We’re doing the one screen behind Justin thing and we’ll have the tree lights back again.. It won’t be so dark I guess you could say.. Lol.. Charles is doing a little better, having a little shock therapy and hopefully work on walking without so much pain next week.. Continue to pray for him and his family.. You also may see a different face on stage this Sunday.. I’ll save it for a surprise and I’m so stoked about it as well!! Another voice to harmonize with AND we’re doing a favorite hymn as well.. We’re going to be doing a few more of those over the next few weeks… First verse and chorus on one Sunday and then the whole song the next.. It’s awesome and I can’t wait…
If you know of anyone who can sing, play an instrument, help with set-up/tear-down, help with music, video or lights, let me know via e-mail.. We would looooove to have you join us on our fabulous journey-called Life..
Almost through with round 1 of 2 with my Master’s class.. I have one in January and one in March…..Master’s in Education.. Woo Hooo!!! Then I’ll go back for something else probably in the Summer or in August.. Yay.. Gots to get it in before Jayden starts sports or other activities in which I’m going to spend time with him.. PLUS, it’s the ony way in my profession we can get a pay raise or anything else..
Thanks for everyone who works hard every week, practices, plays, works, prepares, etc… We need you and we love you!! Thank you so much!!

Well, we had an eventful day on Saturday.. The 4 wheeler I was riding decided to crack a seal, so we rented one.. (Thanks so much peeps.. I can’t express my appreciation and your love for me to ride.) Then, Charles 4 wheeler decided to act up, but we got it running so off we go!! Charles was going up a hill 40 minutes later, it stalled in the middle, and rolled on top of him causing extensive bruising, a few cuts and strawberries.. Basically he’s in a large amount of pain.. Pray for him..
Make sure you comment or shoot me an e-mail about Sunday’s Worship, let me know what you liked and dis-liked about the set up and ’stuff.’ andygoswick@gmail.com Thanks so much.. Be sure to pray for the place across the road as we go and look at it…
Thanks for all the help tearing down each week, the greaaatt cafe and welcome center, people who set up every week and everything anyone has to do to make each Sunday possible.. Thanks soooo much!!
We still need more people to help do anything and everything-behind or in front of the scene.. Pray about it and see where you can get plugged in..
Thanks to David and Tim O. for making our trip to Durham so special by packing up and going to the campsite-setting up!! Thanks so much you guys, that meant so much to me and I think I can say, to us as the younger generation.. By the way for those of you who are wondering, Tim O. has a 350 Yamaha Warrior-a quad or racing 4 wheeler.. He can give it HECK!!! Let me tell you, that man can ride!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much guys-your awesome!!

We had a busy, but great weekend! Our Halloween party went well, we met some neighbors, friends came over and we all had a ball!
Texas lost, Alabama moved up in the polls to #1.. We still have a lot of month left to play so… we’ll have to wait and see.
Sunday Worship was awesome!! Sam was on fire and he “brouht it!” We may have an addition to the Worship Team, which I’m SO totally excited BUT… We may have an addition to RiverRidge which is more awesome!! Prayers were answered allllll over this Sunday and I’m so stoked!! God is Great!!!
Can’t wait until the next 2 weekeneds-the guys have awesome thimgs planned!! 4 wheelin’ at Durham Town this weekend and next weekend, ZIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPPP Linnnnning at Banning Mills!! Whew, we’re going to be tired!! Lol..
Love you guys and I hope you have an awesome week.. Thanks for everyone’s help this past Sunday, you guys are awesome!!! Without your help, none of this is possible!!
Remember, your help and dedication is not for people, but for God.. Without the set-up and tear-down, Sunday couldn’t of happened AND RRC wouldn’t be possible as it is now.. Thank you so much!!

Excited about this weekend.. Our Halloween party is Saturday at 5:00 and it’s going to be a blast!!! I’m going to be Charlie Brown-which is always exciting.. Lol.. My wife is going to be Lucy and my son is going to be Snoopy. We’re getting the house and around it ready, Charles is bringing some lights and we’re going to have some music which will be awesome as well.. Justin is bringing his 4-wheeler and I’m going to hook it up to a trailer, (thanks Tim O!!!) and we’re going to have a mini-hayride..
Friday we’re going to 1st Bapt. church in Douglasville for trunk-or-treat and stuff like that.. That’s going to be interesting..Hopefully I’ll have the 4 wheeler by Friday night, if I do, NO sleep for me!! lol.. (Thanks Justin!!!) We’re going to miss Justin and Ashley, as they’re going to Las Vegas for the weekend but they’re going to miss the party.. Pictures-plenty of pictures we will have..
Worship will be awesome Sunday, just 2 acoustics and a bass.. Just plain old Worship going on.. School’s going well, finished all my work in one class a little early, but the other class I have to do week by week.. That bites, but…. It’s ok.. I have Chapter One complete, working on Chapter two and since we’re out of school on Monday and Tuesday, it’ll give me some time to work on Chapter three as well.. Hopefully I can get it done..
Hope you guys/gals have a wonderful weekend and come out to our party if you’d like.. Thanks for all you do at RRC and I hope you have an awesome day tomorrow…
OH!! If you know of anyone who has ANY electronical stuff, microphones, cords, adapters, stands, etc… just let me know so I can get in touch with them-IF they want to donate it or possibly get rid of it for a good price.. Thanks for all you do!!!!
Another great Sunday and it was good to see some familiar faces back.. Satan was really attacking the Worship team on Sat. night with all our shortage of equipment, but Praise GOD he didn’t win, we had victory in Jesus!! (Hey, that might be a song we’ll do on a Sunday..) Sam’s message was funny, and interesting to say the least.. :) I finished my paper-Chapt. 1- on Saturday and I need to make some corrections.. Finished a few more projects for College, so I’m ahead a little now, but how far I’m unsure..
The few who were able to come went to the Tribulation Trail on Sat. It was ok, alot of us have seen better as far as the message is concerned and that may have had a part in our disection. Most of the ones we’ve been too has followed a family, or individual to the Judgement Day and then we “seen” the end result.. REAL powerful stuff as it deals with divorce, anger, hiding our problems, family issues, peer pressure and etc.. This was more of leading up to and after the times.. It was ok, but I think for the drive we had to make, last week’s rainout, and overall scheme of things, it really lacked appeal.. HOWEVER, we did have fun hanging out with Amber’s dad, Butch.. He was a superb guy and it was awesome to meet and just talk with him..
I can’t wait until Nov. 8th and 15th.. 8th is Durham Town-4 wheeling-I LOVE riding 4 wheelers, seeing nature and just hanging out with the guys.. THEN the following week, we go zippppppppp lining across God’s green earth and all it’s beauty.. (Still hoping the brakes will hold me as I zoooooooom across and have to stop..)
I’ll blog some more later.. I have a few other things to speak about, so… I’ll save them.. OHHHHHH!!!! If you would like to donate ANY musical equipment, accessories such as cables, stands, ANYTHING you have, let me know..
If you would like to donate $5.00 a Sunday, $10.00 a Sunday (or every other Sunday) or $15.00 a month to our Worship team, all the money will be used in the acquisition of much needed equipment and upgrades.. Just let me know and everything you donate IS tax deductible.. Thank you so much!!

I made it so far this week and good news is!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t have the fall festival this Friday and my paper isn’t as long as I originally thought!!! However, it must increase for the next class, so suggestions were made to write as much as possible now to save time and efforts later..
I can’t wait till Sunday-awesome worship planned!! Great songs coming up and great things are happening.. That’s all I can think of right now to write so…………….I’ll write a little later!! God bless you guys!!
Thanks so much for the fellowship on Sunday evening at Taco Mac. We had a GREAT lunch and I loved just getting to know people and basically having a great time..
You know, I had this blog set up so I could give my thoughts but little did I know how busy I was going to be. Before I start, let me give you a slight run-down.
Monday-Meeting with Sam
Tues/Thurs.-Master’s Class for College
Wed.-Work at Huntington Learning Center
Saturday-Set up and work on my College Paper
Sunday-8-1:00 church and 5-8 LifeGroup
As you can see, my week is pretty busy. I encourage you to please pray for my wife and my son. She’s home with him and she gets frustrated, upset sometimes and her patience seems thin. We’ve discussed this, but Satan does and will do anything to try and stand in the way of our family. Just pray for her please, it will mean so much to her and to our family..
Second, Worship was AWESOME this past Sunday!! It was great to have the band back and in a different spirit. We had a long talk Saturday about releasing all the stuff and the “crap” in our lives so that when we enter worship, we give it all we have and we offer all we have.. Basically, we united this past Saturday and we want the church/people to do the same. It’s time we put all the petty “stuff” and satan led feelings and attitudes somewhere else.. We can’t allow “things” to get in the way of our worship-we do it for Christ and it’s all about Him.
Don’t forget to pray about how you can serve. We need some willing people, willing hearts and people who want to help out every Sunday, once a month or maybe even a couple of times a month.. If your interested or can help, please let Sam or myself know-we’ll get you plugged in..
Thanks again for all those who help every Sunday, we love you and we need you so much.. God will bless you and your family for your dedication and committment.
I’ll try to blog as much as I can, but due to my schedule, it may take a day or two before I can.. Thanks so much for everything you do and we love you!!

We’re almost to the weekend and we have an exciting one coming up-I can’t wait!! Our Lifegroup and a few more, are going to the Tribulation Trail on Friday.
On Saturday, I have to work on one of my Master’s papers and boy is that going to be a fun course!! I have a choice of either a 55 page handbook or 35 page research paper.. Hmmmmm… which one???
Sunday is going to be awesome, we have the full band back and I think things are going to be awesome.
I’m really tired this week having something to do all this week, but class is cancelled tonight due to our Prof. being sick.. Sucks that he’s sick, but great for me!!
A lot more to talk about and little time to do it..
Coming back today/tonight to finish a thought I’m having and maybe I can get your ideas if your willing?? Who knows.. My world is full of ADHD!! Isn’t that right SAM!?!?!
Well, today was suppose to be filled with fun, meetings and fellwoship.. However, my sinuses and allergies chose to put me in bed for about 3-4 hours today..
I had changed my oil in the truck and in the car, when my eyes became so swollen, I couldn’t hardly see, my head was hurting and I felt like crap!! So, I called Sam up and told him I would have to take a raincheck, went home and went to bed. Didn’t sleep too well, but good enough to ease the pain.
Friday I decided to be something I wasn’t-an air conditioner technician.. I thought, how hard could it be to change a darn thermostat..Well, when you follow the directions, then no it’s not hard at all. Silly/goofy me, I forgot to flip my breakers and therefore created a short.. Which leads me to my revelation today..
Inside the unit in my garage, their is a fuse which had blown. I didn’t know this until someone told me.. (Thanks Tim O.) He told me something was wrong with the thermostat so I decided to take it back and use that money somewhere else. The fuse however, is behind a bunch of other “stuff” which blocks the flow of electricity. Well, my fuse was blown and I had no clue until I, (1) spoke with someone who knew what they were doing, (2) and removed all the stuff in the way so I can make a proper repair. Needless to say, last night we got air back and I’m leaving it alone!!
Isnt’ that just like God and our own lives?? We have all this stuff in our way which prevents us from operating at our max. We can flip buttons, change things, make it look all pretty but until the issue is resolved, there’s no hope. There is hope in Jesus Christ-we need to concentrate on HIM because he is what keeps us running.. So, what do we do?? Well, we get to the bottom of the issue in our lives and sometimes its the “little” things we give no attention or push to the side. Now, the A/C unit ran in our house after the fuse, but it didn’t run properly. So, we remove the little things out of our lives in order to fulfil the bigger things Christ has for us. My prayer for you this week is that you find those little things which have stolen, took away, removed or just plain, and you go through all the “stuff” in your life until you get to your “fuse.” Every fuse is different, but just wired differently as well. So find out what can be removed in your life so that you can be a little more “free.”
Sorry this is so confusing, but under medication will make your mind go everywhere?!?! Lol.. Thanks and I love you guys!!
